Paula Patton (born in 1960) is an American actress. She also has produced films such as Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol. As a young girl Paula Patton grew up in a Los Angeles middle-class household. Instilling a passion for film within her daughter was a skill that was a gift from her mother, she also enjoyed watching films. Paula took part in school co-curricular events, and she particularly enjoyed acting. Paula loved playing the role of an actor alongside her peers and was a participant in the school's stage productions. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School staged a variety of plays, and the actress decided that acting was her chosen career. She enjoyed her summer at University of Southern California. She received a 3-month contract to produce documentaries on PBS. After completing the project well, she was able to begin being an assistant in TV documentary production. She then moved to produce documentaries. Although she enjoyed her career however, she longed for being an actor. She began her journey into acting with a role as Will Smith's co-star on love story Hitch. Since then, she has been in numerous well-known television and film shows.
