Anya Taylor-Joy

The birth of Anya Taylor-Joy took place April 16 1996 in Miami Florida. She is the daughter of Dennis Alan Taylor, a ex-bank executive, and Jennifer Marina Joy, a psychologist named Anya Taylor-Joy. His father was Argentine with Scottish-English heritage. Her mother comes from Spanish and English roots. Taylor Joy is the youngest of four siblings. One of them is in each parent's previous marriages. The family lived in Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy was 6 years old, then moved to Victoria district in London. According to Taylor-Joy, the removal was extremely difficult for her and she was unable to study English to the hope of moving back to Argentina. Hill House, a school within the same district as Northlands was obligated to accept her. Then she enrolled in Queen's Gate School, where she studied dance and performed in shows. When she was 16 she left the college and began pursuing a career acting full-time. Taylor-Joy always wished to be an actor.
